About Mariana Caltabiano

Mariana Caltabiano is a Brazilian film producer, author, screenwriter, and entrepreneur. She has been active in the entertainment industry for over two decades. She has a successful track record of producing and writing engaging content for TV, film and books. Her notable works include the hit TV series Turma da Garrafinha, Gui & Estopa and Zuzubaland; as well as the feature film Brasil Animado 3-D to which she has received an Honorable Mention from Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro, considered the Brazilian Oscar; also Best Children's film in Portuguese language at Cineport (the Portuguese Oscar). Her book Vips- Histórias Reais de um Mentiroso was a bestseller and got two movie adaptations, one of them from Universal Pictures.

Her show Zuzubaland has been nominated twice in the category Best Animation series in the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro. In addition to her work in film and television, Mariana is also the founder and CEO of Mariana Caltabiano Animation Studio, which has partnerships with major companies such as Globo Filmes, Warner Brothers and HBO MAX.
